These Streets Will Make You Feel Brand New, These Lights Will Inspire You

I went down to Springfield on Friday for an end of semester night out of town, and had a lovely time. Springfield really is at it's best during the holidays.  Buildings are lit up with edging lights, there are giant snowflake lights hanging from the street lamps, and many trees are wrapped up in lights.  This one was amazing, outside of some kind of law or court building downtown.

I've said this before, but if I ever become mayor of a town, all the buildings will have white lights around the edges, year-round.  It's just so beautiful and safe and happy!  Speaking of lights, Mom and I put up the outside lights on our house the other night.  After a couple trips to Walgreens to get more lights, and a warm-up sip of Bailey's, we were finished!  Turned out pretty good, huh?
