A Digital Crinkle

I finally posted about the Christmas In Europe trip on Facebook, mainly to see if there were any random people who might comment with some good, off-the-beaten-path places to go in any of the cities.  And what do you know, people delivered!  A lot more people than I expected had been to Barcelona, so we got a few more things to add to the list for that city, and one old acquaintance mentioned some good Christmas markets that will be open in London, which will be fun.

I went to a friend's birthday party this weekend and someone mentioned going to an evensong or church service in one of the old cathedrals.  I thought it would be great to try and fit into Notre Dame or one of the other old cathedrals in Paris on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.  Neither of us are really religious anymore, but it would be pretty awe-inspiring to hear the choirs in such amazing structures.  It would also be a little more traditional Christmas than say, going to see a movie or something.
