Atlantis Lives

In the afternoon, we decided it was a good day for a castle.  The boys had already gotten a pile going that morning, so we had a quick meeting to plan it out.

Forms are always the first order of business, as they need to be done while the pile is still fairly wet.

After that comes the carving stage.

And with that, the first castle of the trip was complete!  That evening though, a rainstorm rolled through.  We went up to the house for shelter and found some little birds were there to join us.

After the storm passed, we went back out to the beach to check the castle.  It survived, but looked like it had sunk underwater thousands of years ago.
