A Coherent Portrait

I brought this drawing of a cow skull I did in a Drawing class in college back to Nashtown to hang in the apartment, but it seems to be lacking something.  Some color, maybe?  I'm thinking a few chalk pastel flowers will crown it off nicely, and add a little mixed media-ness.  What do you think?
