Ta Ta For Now

After the Eiffel Tower, we continued walking in no direction in particular, and ended up near Les Invalides and La Musée de l'Armée.  Les Invalides is the gold dome that you can see in the Paris skyline almost as much as the Eiffel.

We continued walking, ending up on the Pont D'Alexandre.  There were some great statues, and we could still see la Tour Eiffel!  On the other side was the Champs Elysées, the famous high-end shopping street.  We decided to walk along the parallel street that runs next to the Seine.  The line of houseboats along the bank is always fun to see.

After that walk we made one more loop around the Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries, and the Louvre before getting on the metro back to the 16th.  So long, Paris.  It is still amazing to me that I got to go back just five years after my study abroad month.  I'm still in love with this beautiful city, and will probably never tire of going back to visit, seeing old favorites and exploring new ones.
