No problem though, we just had a little extended airport people-watching session until the next flight to Barcelona that was leaving at two. We arrived, met up with our host for a tour of the apartment, and left to go check out the area.
The Sagrada Familia church was literally just a three-minute walk from our doorstep. I had seen a few pictures of the facades online, but it is nothing compared to looking at it in real life. Not really my favorite style at all, but it is so impressive that you just stand there looking at it in awe. And it's not even done yet!
After that first night viewing, we knew we were going to have to come back and see the inside. We continued on and decided on a little steakhouse for dinner. We got a fried asparagus appetizer, hoping for an Ocean Club-like dish, but ended up with the beginnings of a log house. It tasted good, but the presentation was a little bizarre. The burgers and fries were quite delicious as well.
