Attacking the Tide

The Surfrider Foundation informed me through their weekly news email, In This Week's Soup (sign up here if you have any inkling of an interest in the beach, environment, or activism: http://www.surfrider.org/), that the good people who run Surfrider put together an art exhibit titled Ocean Armor to draw attention to the fact that "while marine animals have many natural defenses, they are powerless against man-made threats...[the exhibit] is meant to inspire viewers to preserve the ocean and the creatures that call it home [because] they can't protect themselves."  Each set of armor is inspired by different cultures and periods in history, and they look really awesome.  For more information, go to http://oceanarmor.org/
