1.  A rarely found on Earth, colorless, odorless, inert noble gas element that produces a redish-orange glow, symbol Ne, atomic number 10.  Extracted from the air for commercial usage in neon advertising signs.

2.  Late 19th century Greek origin, meaning "something new."

3.  A very bright or fluorescent color.
